What does PayPigeon do?
It sends timed reminders about your unpaid invoices, in your business's name, and stops the moment the invoice is paid. It is a reminder tool acting on your behalf, not a debt collector.
Is there a free plan?
Your first 2 invoices are free, email reminders only, no card. The third invoice is where we ask for a card and a paid plan.
What do the paid plans cost?
Solo $29/mo ($259.99 a year): 30 invoices a month, 100 SMS included; Crew $49/mo ($439.99 a year): 100 invoices a month, 300 SMS included; Pro $99/mo ($889.99 a year): 1,000 invoices a month, 2,000 SMS included. Yearly billing is about 25% cheaper than paying monthly.
What happens if I send more texts than my plan includes?
Texts beyond your included pack are billed at $0.05 each in the US and $0.15 each internationally, added to your next subscription invoice.
Do you send text messages?
Paid plans include a text allowance. US text delivery depends on carrier registration that is still in progress, so for US customers reminders go by email for now. The free plan is email only.
How do I add an invoice?
Forward the invoice email to your private PayPigeon address, snap a photo, type it in, or import a CSV. You always confirm the details before any reminder is sent.
When do reminders go out?
At the same local time each day for your customer sequence (10am by default), inside quiet hours you control between 7am and 10pm, and not on Sundays unless you turn that on.
Does the money go through PayPigeon?
No. Payments run through your own Stripe account once you connect it, so the money goes straight to you. Until Stripe is connected, reminders go out without an online pay button.
Whose name is on the reminders?
Yours. Every reminder is written in your business's name and you can edit every word. A small line, "Sent on behalf of your business by PayPigeon", appears in the footer on every plan.
How do I cancel?
In one click from Settings, straight into Stripe's cancel screen. No call, no email, no forms.
Can you give legal advice about collecting debts?
No. PayPigeon sends polite reminders for you. For questions about what you are allowed to do to collect an overdue balance, talk to a lawyer in your area.
